Josh Buckley Internet Entrepreneur

Hey guys,

I’m Josh (as you know), a young web developer from england, UK. I installed wordpress a few days back, and this is my first blog post…..EVER. I’m basically giving this whole blogging craze a try, don’t expect any frequent updates as this post is just to see how i feel about getting into the habit of blogging. (In the two minutes i’ve spent writing so far, it’s pretty appealing)

I’m an avid reader of many “netpreneur” blogs, i will probably name some in later posts. But, for now it looks like i’m what you’ve got.
I’m also into selling/flipping websites. I’ve sold two so far, and i hope increase that number in 07. You can find my most recent sale Here
I was pretty happy with that sale, but i hope to top it this year… not quite sure how yet. I’m also a pretty adequate LAMP programmer, which is handy because i can code my own sites. I do the occasional freelance work but, i mostly work for myself.

Goals for ‘07
I believe that a major factor to success is organisation, it’s always good to think ahead (i atleast try) So, as its still early days in 07, i thought that i would list my 2007 goals. I think that most netpreneurs, infact anybody should do the same. It really shows you how much you have achieved since you last wrote it. I may write annual goals, but i lack the patience. So, i think quarterly is a good idea.

1. Earn at least mid $x,xxx in website sales

2. Make at least $xx,xxx net profit

3. Improve my design and coding skills

4. Make some good friends on/off the web who i can exchange ideas/thoughts and have some fun with them

And, i think thats it for my goals, i don’t think they are too challenging, but it’s more of a “how fast can i reach these goals” than a annual target thing.
