On the road to big-boards
If you haven’t heard of big-boards, it’s basically a directory showcasing the largest forums on the net. The largest forum being gaiaonline - the same market as menewsha. On gaia online, users can sign up and create their own avatars, just like on menewsha. But, their forum consists of just spamming. This is where i believe menewsha will get the upper hand - and, ofcourse with our superior avatars.

Anyway, gaia online has been up since around 2003. And, it’s at the top of big-boards with:
946,988,418 posts and 6,451,680 members as i write this.
Now, you have to admit that this is pretty massive. Hopefully menewsha can get a fraction of their success.
I think menewsha’s growth is going great. We usually have 15+ members on at any given time. And, we are just over 2 months old.
Menewsha’s stats are:
35,452 posts and 328 members as i write thisThis is without advertising, without my viral marketing campaign (explained later)
So, i’m sure that we will reach the big-boards minimum of 500,000 in the future. It may take a while - but i’m sure we can do it. Menewsha is growing really fast!
Other than this growth, i’m happy with the work that’s going back into menewsha. My flash developer has come back. Aparently his harddrive was frazzled, so he couldn’t get on - hopefully we can get some flash games coming out for menewsha soon. We are working hard on adding new items and features to the site.
Ending of a partnership
If you haven’t read this in previous posts, i have been working on a joint project with Andy Rouhafzai. Unfortunately, i have decided to leave this project. It’s just not the right time for me to be coding another site with menewsha going on. There is always something big for me to do on menewsha.
However, i’m sure andy and me will stay friends - i made him a great blog template at a great mates rate of $85 (hehe, i mainly did it for the experience - not the cash)
