Recently, my friend jon has been blogging about a new project of his, dailybooth.com. I’ve been very interested in the project since he first mentioned it to me. It’s not often that you really think a project will take off a lot before it’s open. However, i sure do about this project. Although this isn’t my first investment, as i have invested thousands of dollars into projects of my own. I see this as a totally different type of investment. I’m not investing in a project of my own, my money is in somebody elses hands. This type of investment can be much riskier, but the rewards can be so much better.

The basic concept of dailybooth will be to create a video of yourself like this:

I told jon from the start that i was interested in investing. At first, he kindly declined. But, yesterday we came to an agreement. The contract has all been signed, which is void until the payment is sent. I bought in as a sleeping partner, so i will be required to do no work on the site. My money will work for me, i won’t be working for money. I bought a small % of the site, for money that will easily pay a lot of the start-up costs.
