What teachers make

If you’ve read this blog for a while now, you’ll realise that i love a good, powerful speach now and then. And, recently i’ve found a gem of a speech! I loved this speech straight away, tyler mali speaks with authority and i went on to watch some of his other (not so good, but still great) work. Speaking with this authority is a skill which I would love to develop…. (one day)

I’ve found that there are two types of teachers. There are… well, teachers, and there are educators. This man is clearly an educator. In fact, the question, “How much do you make” is good way to tell which one your own teachers are.

I’ve had some seriously good teachers that have changed my course in life and in school, and I’ve had some teachers that are there for the paycheck, sprinting out the door at 3:02 everyday.

That really is a great speech, and like you said, such authority. Great find.

Too true connor, no doubt everybody has had a mixture of both kinds of teacher. If only there were more of the good ones.

I just loved this guy speaking, he has a skill which, i’m sure everybody would love to have.

Holy shit! That guy blew me away. And it’s not the first time I’ve seen that video. That guy will definitely be a huge inspiration to people! His voice is so powerful, you just can’t help but listen to him. Amazing.

Haha, I met this guy three years ago for a week. He’s a great guy in person and I’ll never forget the lessons he taught me.

Al Pacino’s ‘Any Given Sunday’ speech is a powerful speech in my opinion. :)
